Greetings,

 

I am delighted that you are interested in learning more about Walnut Fork Baptist Church.  We are a church with deep roots to the past, and a long history of ministering to the people of North Georgia.  Our members are dedicated followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe that He alone is the true leader of our congregation.

 

Although Walnut Fork is proud of its rich history, it is not beholden to the past.  Instead, we are constantly looking ahead, and seeking how it is that the Lord would have us minister to the needs of our people and our community.  We firmly believe that our first and greatest responsibility is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are lost and separated from God.  Secondly, as Jesus commanded us, we are to “make disciples” by teaching believers how to live their lives fully committed to Christ.

 

We are convinced that a group of believers, truly united under the Lordship of Christ, can change the heart and soul of its community by spreading the gospel one person at a time.  As we do this, we not only add to the rolls of Heaven, but we also strengthen our community as more and more people become citizens of the Kingdom of God.
